Anatolia reporter, Hind Khodyar, spoke live for FACE from Gaza – the main Palestinian city where the humanitarian disaster is escalating:
“Here in Gaza, two million people have been living under siege for more than seventy years! This is not the first aggression! We are talking about many aggressions: 2008, 2005, 2014, 2009 and 2011! This is ethnic cleansing where thousands of people are displaced! More than 400.000 people are now homeless! The people listened to the Israeli army, listened to what they were told – to go from the north to the south, and while they were in the process of evacuating, they were bombed! Entire Gaza is being bombed, both north and south! At the same time, airstrikes are ongoing! We do not know what the goal of Israeli aggression is! They kill children who have nothing to do with ‘Hamas’! We are talking about more than a thousand children who died! What do they have to do with ‘Hamas’ or any army? People are leaving the houses where they used to live and they need to look for accommodation in the south!”
